Job summary

Creighton University School of Dentistry seeks two Team Leaders for its pre-doctoral clinic model. The 12-month Clinician Educator track appointments will work with a faculty team building on a legacy of excellence in dental education within the Department of General Dentistry.

Responsibilities include leading teams in a comprehensive team-based practice, supporting preclinical courses and labs, managing student teams and overseeing patient care as students matriculate.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree required.
• Must pass Part I and Part II NBDE prior to hire.
• Unrestricted Nebraska Dental License with credentialing required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively.

Creighton University School of Dentistry is seeking two motivated individuals as Team Leaders within the School's pre doctorial clinic model.

The 12-month, non-tenure, Clinician Educator track appointments will work with a team of dedicated faculty who are building on a rich legacy of excellence in dental education in the Department of General Dentistry

Position responsibilities include:

Serving as a Team leader in the school’s comprehensive team-based practice model as well as supporting the delivery of the curriculum in preclinical courses and labs.

Administrative management of students within an assigned team and overseeing the clinical care of their patient families as the students matriculate toward graduation.

Participation in scholarly activity and service is encouraged as part of the position responsibilities.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree,
• Document successful completion of Part I and Part II of the National Board Dental Examination or the Integrated National Board Dental Examination prior to the date of hire
• Must possess or obtain and maintain an unrestricted Nebraska Dental License in the category for which they are eligible along with subsequent credentialing from applicable third-party payer systems .
• Candidates must also possess strong organizational and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a collegial, interdisciplinary environment.

Preferred:

• Private Practice experience is preferred but not mandatory
