Assistant/Associate Professor-Radiation Oncology
For one half day research/academic day per week (10% protected time) you are expected to:
Required Education: M.D., completed 4-year residency in Radiation Oncology.
The applicants should be ABR board certified/eligible in Radiation Oncology.
Georgia medical license and DEA.
PhD in addition to MD, maintained board certification in Radiation Oncology with two years of combined clinical, educational, and research experience.

The Department of Radiation Oncology and the Georgia Cancer Center at Augusta University invite applications for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology. The successful candidate will provide clinical services in Pediatrics, CNS, Head and Neck, GI, or other sites. They are encouraged to perform clinical and translational research, develop clinical trials, participate in NRG and other national and international trials. Qualified candidates may also take a leadership role in clinical operation, education, and research within the Department of Radiation Oncology and the Georgia Cancer Center.
This position is not considered to be on a tenure track.
