Assistant/Associate/Professor of Pediatrics (Psychology Director) - CHLA

The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) at USC and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), within the Department of Pediatrics, are seeking a full-time faculty member for the position of Assistant/Associate/Professor of Clinical Pediatrics.

Position Overview

The Department of Pediatrics at CHLA is looking for a Psychologist to serve as the Director of the Department of Psychology. This role involves providing administrative and clinical leadership, aligning with the hospital's mission, vision, values, and goals. The Director will work collaboratively with program leaders across various divisions to implement and advance the Behavioral Health strategic plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and representation for the Department of Psychology across CHLA and USC.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including psychologists, physicians, researchers, and hospital administrators.
• Support performance improvement activities and maintain professional competence.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• California State License by the Board of Psychology.
• ABPP-certified or ABPP-eligible.
• Completion of an APA-accredited internship.
• Postdoctoral fellowship or supervised experience in pediatric psychology is preferred.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role and 5-7 years of clinical experience in pediatric psychology.
