The Indiana University School of Medicine’s Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery, is actively recruiting a full-time general surgeon to join the faculty at the assistant or associate professor level. The ideal candidate will manage general and abdominal wall surgery cases while working with a collaborative group of surgeons and APPs that provide exceptional care. This surgeon will provide such services at our IU Health North Hospital located in a rapidly growing suburb right outside of Indianapolis.

1. Clinical teaching is a primary component, with opportunities to interact with medical students, surgical residents, and fellows in the office, inpatient, and OR settings.
2. Additional nonclinical teaching opportunities include didactic sessions and simulation-based training in the Department of Surgery Skills Lab.
