The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks candidates for a Pediatric & Fetal Echocardiology faculty position. The cardiologist will work primarily at OSF Healthcare Children’s Hospital of Illinois. Requirements include an MD/DO degree, board certification or eligibility in pediatric cardiology, and Illinois physician licensure. Candidates should have completed residency and fellowship training, with additional training or extensive experience in pediatric, fetal, and congenital echocardiography.
The successful candidate will join a team of 10 pediatric cardiologists, 2 pediatric cardiovascular surgeons, and 5 advanced practice providers, supported by state-of-the-art facilities. Responsibilities include outpatient clinics, inpatient rotations, imaging, and participation in the multi-disciplinary Fetal Care Center. Travel to outreach clinics is required, approximately one day per week, including fetal echo services.
