The Department of Periodontics and Endodontics at the School of Dental Medicine seeks to fill a full-time tenure track faculty position. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (HS) tenure eligible with a full-time commitment.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Predoctoral and graduate level didactic and clinical teaching
  • Research
  • Patient care
An academic focus is expected and can be developed in any number of areas across school programs and strengths, including but not limited to clinical, translational, or basic science research.

Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience. Participation in the SDM faculty practice plan is expected. Review of candidates will begin immediately and applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

  • DDS , DMD , or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialty in periodontics and previous teaching and research experience.
  • Experience in educational innovation, use of technology in education and computer skills.
  • A record of extramural research funding.
