The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Physician. Candidates should have an interest in academic medicine, reproductive medicine, and the ability to lead the REI division. This position will be 10% department admin to support a Division Director role, 10% research, and 80% clinical/clinical teaching.

Primary responsibilities will include reproductive endocrinology and infertility patient care and research, clinical teaching of residents and fellows, and duties related to holding a Division Director title.

Essential Functions
  • Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars.
  • Evaluate and develop curriculum for department and/or college.
  • Attend meetings, participate in governance, prepare materials for teaching.
  • Serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework.
  • Serve on college or university committees and participate in curriculum development activities.
  • Serve on graduate committees, supervise laboratories (where appropriate), independent study activities, and off-campus learning.
  • Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities.
  • Render service to the professional or lay community which is relevant to the individual’s academic specialty.
  • Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.
  • Completion of a board-certified Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program.
  • Completion of formal fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
  • Active Ohio medical license at time of hire.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Candidates that are board eligible at time of hire will be expected to be fully boarded in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility within five years.
