The Division of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine was created in 2013 when our departments merged into the Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine. The division provides clinical care in inpatient (rehab unit and hospital consultation) and outpatient settings. We have expertise in stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injuries and musculoskeletal care. Some current areas of focus include a multidisciplinary approach to TBI across the spectrum of disease and the use of ultrasound in musculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment.
The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking a highly qualified clinician to fill a faculty position. The rank of appointment (Assistant/Associate) is open and will be commensurate with the experience and professional accomplishments of the selected applicant. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff, and all our activities.
The successful candidate will join the Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation as a physiatrist. Primary focus will be clinical outpatient with teaching opportunities relating to residents, fellows, medical students and may may include opportunities in research efforts.
All successful candidates must possess a M.D. or D.O. and board certification/eligibility in PM & R.
