The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) seeks a highly motivated research faculty member at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level to support and advance the Galveston Heart Study (GHS), a large-scale, longitudinal, community-based cardiovascular research initiative. The successful candidate will serve as a co-investigator and play a key role in the design, implementation, execution, and dissemination of clinical and translational research conducted through the GHS.
The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) seeks a highly motivated research faculty member at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level to support and advance the Galveston Heart Study (GHS), a large-scale, longitudinal, community-based cardiovascular research initiative. The successful candidate will serve as a co-investigator and play a key role in the design, implementation, execution, and dissemination of clinical and translational research conducted through the GHS. This position will have a primary focus on operational oversight of research activities, and development of quality improvement initiatives that can be translated into impactful research projects. The faculty will also work on healthcare quality improvement initiatives, and implementation science, with the ability to translate operational and quality improvement efforts into impactful clinical research projects. The faculty member will work closely with multidisciplinary investigators within the Sealy Heart & Vascular Institute and collaborate with other departments across UTMB.

Appointment will be at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and scholarly accomplishments.
