Assistant/Associate Professor - Accounting

Primary Purpose of Position

The School of Business at North Carolina Central University seeks highly qualified applicants for a 9-month, tenure-track position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting. The candidate must have an earned Ph.D. in Business with a major in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution. ABD candidates from AACSB-accredited universities may be considered at the instructor level. Candidates with teaching interests in accounting systems/data analytics and tax are preferred. Experience using SAP is also preferred.

Instructional duties include teaching, curriculum development, participation in the program’s assurance of learning efforts, and may include online instruction. Faculty are expected to maintain an active research program and participate in service activities. Quality research productivity is expected. The role involves teaching at the undergraduate level and possibly graduate courses.
