ASSISTANT PROFESSOR / ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business Administration invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing. The anticipated start date of employment is August 2027, pending final approval. Salary is competitive.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field (Assistant Professor applicants must have completed their degree by August 15, 2027). We are particularly interested in scholars with research and teaching interests in professional sales and sales management. The successful hire at the Associate Professor level with tenure will be considered for the Ourso Distinguished Chair in Marketing.
Responsibilities: Perform scholarly research with the expectation of publication in top marketing journals; teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels; serve on dissertation committees; serve as a member of the Department's Professional Sales Institute; provide service to the university and to the profession.
