Assistant/Associate or Professor of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (Tenure Track)

Location: Los Angeles, California

Position Description

USC Caruso Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is seeking faculty members at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, either tenured or on the tenure track. We are looking for candidates with a strong program in auditory and/or vestibular research, focusing on sensory system development and/or regeneration. Candidates utilizing advanced molecular biology techniques such as single-cell multiomics, proteomics, or gene editing are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
  • PhD or MD degree required
  • Proven impactful research with a strong publication and funding record
  • Commitment to research and teaching
  • Ability to collaborate within a diverse academic environment
Responsibilities
  • Conduct basic or translational research using various model systems
  • Engage in teaching and mentoring students, post-docs, residents, and junior faculty
  • Participate in collaborative projects within USC and external partners

Salary
