Job Summary:The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking a clinical faculty member who will primarily focus upon both basic and advanced electrophysiology procedures and device implementation along with treatment of other cardiovascular diseases within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine.
This position will have regular assignments in the faculty rotation to cover electrophysiology consult services at the University of Kentucky. In addition, ambulatory assignments will be aimed to establish a practice encompassing patients with arrhythmias and other heart rhythm disorders and this position will be involved in non invasive and invasive testing in this patient population. This position will be a core member of the electrophysiology programs, and will be involved with teaching cardiology fellows, residents and students during consult service, and in-patient services and participation in the Department’s courses for medical students.
