The Department of Medicine and the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at UC San Diego seek applicants for Project Scientist positions. Under supervision of the Principal Investigator, candidates will independently design, conduct, and analyze studies to evaluate cardiovascular disease, using mouse models and cultured cells, and will present data.
Appointments will be at Assistant, Associate, or Full level based on background and experience.

Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator, candidates will independently design, conduct, and analyze studies to evaluate cardiovascular disease. This includes performing experiments in both normal and genetically modified mouse models, as well as cultured cells, and analyzing and presenting the resulting data. In addition, candidates will be responsible for providing on-site teaching to students in the lab.
