Job summary

The University of Washington invites applications for three faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Non-Invasive Imaging program.

This role includes serving as an attending physician in the Echocardiography Laboratory at Seattle Children’s Hospital, performing transthoracic, transesophageal, 3D-echo, strain, fetal, and cross-sectional imaging, plus a scholarly focus in non-invasive imaging.

Qualifications

• Must hold MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology.
• 4th year advanced imaging fellowship training required.
• Licensed physician or eligible for licensure in Washington state.

Responsibilities

• Serve as attending physician in the Echocardiography Laboratory at Seattle Children's Hospital.
• Perform a wide range of non-invasive cardiac imaging modalities (TTE, TEE, 3D-echo, strain, fetal, cross-sectional imaging).
• Engage in scholarship activities focused on non-invasive imaging.
• Support cardiac clinical educational programs for sonographers, medical students, residents, fellows and nursing.

Job description

The University of Washington, Department of Pediatrics is accepting applications for three positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Non-Invasive Imaging program. This position involves serving as an attending physician in the Echocardiography Laboratory at Seattle Children's Hospital, performing a wide range of non-invasive cardiac imaging modalities (including transthoracic, transesophageal, 3D-echo, strain, fetal, and cross-sectional imaging), significant scholarship activities focused in non-invasive imaging, and supporting cardiac clinical educational programs for sonographers, medical students, residents, fellows, and nursing.
