Job summary

UC San Diego invites applications for Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Pathologists to join the Division of Anatomic Pathology. Job description

The Department of Pathology at the University of California, San Diego, is committed to academic excellence within its faculty, staff, and student body and is seeking Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Pathologists to join its Division of Anatomic Pathology.

The successful candidates will have clinical responsibilities for specimens associated with robust general care, organ transplant, and cancer programs at UC San Diego Health, including the Rebecca and John Moores Cancer Center (the region's only NCI-designated Cancer Center), Jacobs Medical Center, Hillcrest Medical Center, and the Koman Family and McGrath Outpatient Pavilions, as well as our referral/outreach/consultation programs and an expanding clinical integration network. The successful candidates will also engage in collaborative clinical and translational research with members of our gastrointestinal/liver clinical teams and other colleagues, as well as teaching medical students, residents, visiting scholars, and fellows.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s background and experience.
