Job Overview

The UC College of Medicine has a reputation for training best-in-class health care professionals and developing cutting-edge procedures and research that improves the health and clinical care of patients. The Primary Care Network consists of 15 clinical sites caring for more than 100,000 patients across the Cincinnati Tri-State region. Affiliation with the University of Cincinnati Physicians means immediate access to tertiary specialists who treat the most complex medical conditions. The Primary Care Network is committed to patient-centered medical care, innovation, and education that inspires the next generation of healthcare professionals.

The Department of Internal Medicine is in search of three (3) physicians to join our practice in Florence, Kentucky (68 Cavalier Blvd 41042). Faculty rank is commensurate with experience.

Essential Functions
  • Diagnose diseases or study medical conditions using techniques such as gross pathology, histology, cytology, cytopathology, clinical chemistry, immunology, flow cytometry, and molecular biology.
  • Write reports summarizing analyses, results, and conclusions.
  • Identify the etiology, pathogenesis, morphological change, and clinical significance of diseases.
  • Analyze and interpret results from tests.
  • Document findings, plan, and actions taken according to departmental guidelines and standards.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of relevant medical/legal issues that impact on patient care.
  • Maintain records and statistics in accordance with department policies.
  • Attend and participate in staff, committee, department, and other administrative meetings.
  • Participate in department's continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Provide education to other health care professionals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO).
  • Licensure by the State of Ohio Medical Board.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
  • Active DEA license.
