M Health and Clinical Partnerships
Providers practice at affiliated locations under the M Health Fairview shared care delivery system. This partnership involves University of Minnesota Physicians (MPhysicians), University of Minnesota Medical Center, and Fairview Health Services, aiming to build a nationally recognized academic health system that combines academic and community resources for optimal clinical care, research, and education.
MPhysicians:
MPhysicians is the multi-specialty group practice for the University of Minnesota Medical School faculty clinicians, serving the state of Minnesota and beyond with high-quality specialty and primary care, innovative treatments, and evidence-based care.
Primary Responsibilities:
This faculty member will dedicate at least 85% effort to providing high-quality clinical care in pulmonary and critical care, along with trainee education. The remaining effort will focus on education and collaborative research, with expectations of scholarly accomplishments such as publications. Clinical activities include work at University of Minnesota Medical Center and other Fairview Hospitals and Clinics. Active participation in PACCS Division and Department of Medicine programs, development of clinical expertise, and engagement in research and education are expected.
Ideal candidates are recently trained pulmonologist-intensivists interested in developing a high-quality practice with an educational component and building clinical and academic expertise, especially in complex lung diseases, interstitial lung disease, and airway diseases.
