The Department of Medicine's Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine (PACCS) seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor faculty on the Academic or Clinician Track with clinical focus on Lung Transplantation.
This faculty member will dedicate at least 85% effort (90% or 95% for Clinician Track) to clinical care, primarily at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and Clinics, and participate in education and research activities. The role involves active participation in PACCS Division and Department programs, with a focus on lung transplantation, and developing regional and national reputation in the field.
MD degree, ABIM certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, with high-quality training and experience in academic research and/or education. Ability to obtain work authorization in the U.S. is required.
With over 80 faculty, the division features nationally recognized programs in various pulmonary and critical care disciplines, committed to research, clinical care, and education.
Salary starts at $55,000, with additional clinical salary through University of Minnesota Physicians. Benefits include health plans, retirement, paid leave, tuition benefits, and more.
