The successful candidate will join a clinical radiation oncology program that has existed since the College first opened in the mid-1980’s. There is institutional support for having a team that includes three ACVR -RO board-certified faculty. Due to recent personnel changes, there is now one vacancy, allowing for an incredible opportunity to join the team and help us re-envision what the service should look like in the future!
We enjoy a busy and diverse caseload supported by radiation oncology residents, a robust support staff, a consulting medical physicist, and medical dosimetrists who provide remote treatment planning support.
The radiation oncology service is located in the Randall B. Terry Jr. Companion Animal Veterinary Medical Center, in Raleigh, North Carolina, equipped with advanced treatment technologies.
The individual will choose between a TENURE TRACK or PROFESSIONAL / CLINICAL TRACK position, with responsibilities including overseeing radiation oncology clinical case management, teaching, research productivity, and participation in college and departmental committees.
