The Department of Surgery is seeking a highly motivated colorectal surgeon to join the Colorectal Service. This position is ideally suited for a board-certified or -eligible colorectal surgeon or surgical oncologist with an interest in the treatment of cancers of the lower gastrointestinal tract. The incumbent will join the Colorectal Service team of 9 surgeons and will receive academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. As members of the multidisciplinary Colorectal Cancer Disease Management Team, Colorectal Service surgeons provide an integrated, highly specialized, and personalized treatment approach for patients with cancer of the colon, rectum or anus. Responsibilities include seeing patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, performing anorectal and abdominal operations, educating residents and fellows, and conducting scientific research.
