Job Description Summary

The Assistant Area Maintenance Manager supports our Kennedy Wilson owned communities. This role involves assisting the Area Maintenance Manager in overseeing technical and mechanical work across 3 or more communities with over 500 units, ensuring properties meet standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality, while also meeting financial and operational goals. Responsibilities include developing scopes of work, managing vendor relations, and analyzing property maintenance needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage work orders, routine upkeep, and repairs following policies and safety standards.
• Lead on-site maintenance staff in diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Oversee the 'make-ready' process for vacant units, including inspections, scheduling repairs, and vendor coordination.
• Set standards for community cleanliness and appearance.
• Supervise maintenance team members.
• Inspect work performed by staff and contractors to ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate vendor and contractor schedules and projects.
• Assist with capital projects and budget preparation based on financial analysis.

The hourly pay range is $33.00 - $35.00, with additional compensation factors and benefits including housing discounts, bonuses, health insurance, paid time off, 401(k), parental leave, and more.
