Job summary

US Fertility in Sandy Springs, GA, is hiring an Assistant Andrology Supervisor to lead and support the Andrology lab operations. This role involves sample handling, semen analysis, and ART preparation, with a strong emphasis on quality control and accreditation readiness.

The candidate will have a biology background with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory lab role, plus ASCP MLT certification. Expect a collaborative team environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years supervisor laboratory experience.
• B.S. in Biology or other relevant science.
• Experience with a chemistry analyzer strongly preferred.
• Tissue culture experience and/or semen processing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shipping, receiving and disposition of frozen samples.
• Ordering and receiving lab supplies.
• Examine and process specimens for routine semen analysis.
• Perform counts for concentration and motility, perform histological techniques for identifying leucocytes, immature germ cells and morphology.
• Process semen for ART procedures and intrauterine inseminations (IUIs).
• Assure proper sample collection, delivery and identification (chain of custody).
• Perform daily/monthly quality control procedures for media and equipment used in the Andrology laboratory.
• Assist laboratory personnel in performing lab services in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws and guidelines to ensure laboratory maintains accreditation.
