Job summary

Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK) seeks a dynamic Assistant Airport Manager to serve as the primary operational deputy. This full-time leadership role balances airfield operations, seasonal peaks, and long-term facility management on a fast-paced island setting.

Responsibilities include ensuring FAR Part 139, ACM, AEP, Wildlife Hazard Management, and Snow and Ice Control compliance; acting as FAA inspections liaison; overseeing fuel farm safety; reviewing CSPPs for capital projects; and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10 years of airport-related experience with increasing responsibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure FAR Part 139, ACM, AEP, Wildlife Hazard Management, and Snow and Ice Control compliance.
• Act as liaison during FAA inspections.
• Oversee fuel farm safety and inventory.
• Review CSPPs for capital projects and monitor Part 77 airspace.
