Job summary

InReach is seeking an Assistant Activities Coordinator in Monroe, NC to support the development and implementation of activities for the I/DD population. You will assist the Activities Coordinator, plan programs, and help deliver engaging activities in a respectful, inclusive setting.

You will support one-on-one or group instruction, coordinate with staff, and help with agency operations, ensuring safe transport to off-site activities when required.

Qualifications

• Assist with research, planning, and implementing ideas for programs and activities for the I/DD population.
• Involve individuals with one-on-one or group instruction of activities at their level of comprehension.
• Interact with each individual with respect and dignity.
• Assist with agency and program functions.

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals participating in off-site programs and events as needed daily, using a minivan or 12-passenger van.
