Job summary

Jobtailor in Philadelphia is seeking a junior graphic designer to contribute to original artwork, placement prints, and typography for performance and lifestyle apparel. You will collaborate with apparel design, technical design, product development, and merchandising teams to translate concepts into print-ready graphics and CADs.

A Bachelor-level degree in graphic design or related field is required, with 0–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in graphic design or apparel graphics.
• Internship experience in fashion or activewear preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience with hand-drawing, painting, Procreate, or AI tools is a plus.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong layout, typography, and illustration.
• Understanding of FP Movement aesthetic and activewear space.
• Basic understanding of apparel construction, printing techniques, and embroidery preferred.
• Excellent communication and highly organized, collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing original graphic artwork, placements, seamless patterns, and typography for performance and lifestyle apparel.
• Research trends in activewear, wellness, graphics, and color.
• Help build mood boards for seasonal kickoff presentations.
• Generate CADs to communicate scale and print placements on garments.
• Prepare clear tech packs for graphics and embellishments for vendors.
• Collaborate with color and product development teams on colorways.
• Review strike-offs, lab dips, and fabric submissions for accurate artwork.
• Partner with design, technical design, product development, and merchandising teams.
• Maintain organized digital workspaces with consistent naming for art files.
• Track samples, strike-offs, and development progress.
