We are seeking an Assistant Account Executive to join our NY team to support our busy Account Executives! In this role, you will handle a broad range of daily activities independently utilizing technical expertise and product knowledge.

Location: This role will report to our Long Island office (401 Broadhollow Road, Suite 303Melville, NY 11747) five days a week, with the potential of hybrid flexibility in the future.

Functions & Responsibilities Of The Role

  • Receive, review and forward policies, endorsement and other documents
  • Execute placement requests to modify coverage as needed
  • Review and forward premium invoices
  • Prepare and review submissions of Specifications.
  • Assist in Proposal Presentation
  • Adhere to internal QC policies and procedures
  • Maintain communication with underwriters and brokers
  • Perform other specific duties as directed by AE
  • Pursue educational and technical studies required for next level

Education And Technical Qualifications

  • Microsoft Excel & Word experience
  • Solid knowledge of all lines of insurance; Rating experience helpful
  • Good problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Selling skills helpful along with ability to make recommendations for cross-selling
  • Working knowledge of inter-company operations, i.e.: Marketing, Accounting
  • Ability to execute and ensure compliance to all internal Quality Control procedures

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
