Job description

SWIM USA is the premiere designer and manufacturer of women's swimwear located in New York City, NY. We are nearly 90 years young and seeking a dynamic Assistant Account Executive to join our team.

The Assistant Account Executive will support the Account Executive/Sales Team in managing and growing wholesale swim accounts while maintaining strong relationships with retail partners.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Support
    • Assist in managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities
    • Process and track orders from initial entry through delivery
    • Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock positions to clients
    • Prepare sales reports and analyze data
    • Support showroom appointments and trade shows
  2. Account Management
    • Maintain regular communication with buyers and retail partners
    • Handle customer service inquiries and resolve issues
    • Track and follow up on sample requests
    • Assist with seasonal line presentations
    • Monitor account performance and identify growth opportunities
  3. Administrative
    • Create and maintain sales presentations
    • Update customer databases and sales materials
    • Manage product imagery and marketing assets
    • Assist with price lists and order documentation
    • Coordinate with production, logistics, and other departments
  4. Customer Market Appointments
    • Assist with preparing meeting agenda and reports by retailer
    • Showroom & line preparation
    • Model coordination

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field
  • 1-2 years experience in wholesale, retail, or fashion industry
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of swim/resort wear market preferred
  • Experience with order management systems
