Core Job Function

  • Responsible for supporting Buyers with tasks such as SKU creation and maintenance
  • Supporting the buying team with store allocation and transfers
  • Maintaining individual category inboxes
  • Ensure the product is merchandised in relation to trend (sales, inventory, newness, clearance, etc)
  • Create, maintain, and report all omni-product sales data for evaluation purposes as required by the Buyer/DMM
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development
  • Manage product options for each item (Fabrics, Finish, Size, etc.)
  • Clear knowledge of target customer and competitive market
  • Other duties may be determined by management to perform the necessary functions of the position, on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of Buying/Merchant experience
  • College Degree (2 or 4 Years) in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or Design
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to learn and retain new computer systems in a timely manner
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically with strong decision-making skills
  • Passion for Product
