Magellan Federal is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor, Assignment Ready Counselor, to deliver financial counseling services to service members and their families at military installations in Clearwater, Florida. The role includes one-on-one counseling, briefings, and workshops, with potential virtual support depending on contract requirements.

Candidates should have 3+ years in financial counseling, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• May consider assoc degree +4 years in lieu of Bachelor's.
• May consider high school diploma +6 years in lieu of Bachelor's.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
• If required by the contract, bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 2 investigation.
• Must be able to pass OCI disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families.
• Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
• Develop and provide informational financial materials to service members and families.
• Coordinate and provide Personal Financial Management classes/workshops.
• Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.
• Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic communication modes as required by contract.
