7NEWS in Boston is looking for a motivated assignment editor who thrives in a fast-paced, breaking news environment.

We’re looking for someone who is driven to find the most important and compelling stories of the day and deploy 7NEWS crews and resources for optimum coverage.Work is 100% on-site at the station’s downtown Boston office.A minimum of two years of assignment desk experience preferred. Knowledge of Boston and New England a plus. WHDH-TV is an Equal Opportunity Employer.The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 annually. The final offer will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, knowledge and skills.

Candidate must be detail focused and able to multi-task. Candidate should excel at handling last-minute changes, communicate effectively and display a fierce commitment to quality journalism.
