Target is hiring for an Assets Protection Team Leader to oversee security operations, prevent theft, and protect team members and guests in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will lead hourly teammates, implement security plans for in-store events, and partner with store leaders to minimize loss while maintaining an exceptional guest experience. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Leading a security culture and crisis response
• Prioritizing AP workload to meet store goals
• Responding to theft incidents and preventing recurrence
• Resolving external theft and fraud per Target policy
• Partnering with store leaders on shortage priorities
• Coaching and developing hourly team members to perform well

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments consistently
• Ensure team understanding and training on guest commitments
• Observe, give feedback, and celebrate positive moments
• Review metrics and take action to improve outcomes
• Keep products in stock and engage guests on the sales floor
• Lead safety and security procedures during store events
• Develop and coach the AP team and plan staffing
• Identify theft trends and implement loss-prevention tactics
