Job summary

Target is seeking an Assets Protection Team Leader in Rio Rancho, NM, to lead security operations, coach a team of hourly teammates, and protect store assets while delivering an outstanding guest experience.

You will oversee safety protocols, respond to incidents, and partner with store leadership to prevent loss, ensure policy compliance, and maintain a safe shopping environment for guests and team members.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Retail and loss prevention experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and use handheld scanners.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments and maintain a friendly store environment.
• Ensure training and operations are consistently executed across shifts.
• Observe, provide feedback, and uphold safety and security standards.
• Identify theft and shortage trends; develop countermeasures with leadership.
• Lead a team of associates and manage staffing and scheduling.
• Respond to in-store safety incidents and execute Target procedures.
