Job description

The pay range per hour is $21.00 - $35.70.

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and may also include education, work experience, and certifications. ALL ABOUT ASSETS PROTECTION

Assets Protection (AP) teams ensure the safety of our guests, team, and brand, especially during crisis events. They prevent theft and fraud, protect profitable sales, and build relationships with store leaders, public safety officials, and law enforcement.

The role of an Assets Protection Specialist offers opportunities to develop skills such as surveillance, threat identification, documentation, and strategic resolution of theft and fraud cases. No two days are the same, but typical responsibilities include:

  • Supporting sales and guest service by preventing and resolving theft.
  • Conducting apprehensions following AP policies.
  • Identifying theft trends using technology and surveillance.
  • Gathering intelligence and communicating issues.
  • Monitoring video systems for theft activity.
  • Responding to security incidents and documenting them.
  • Promoting a safety culture through awareness and training.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with law enforcement and public safety officials.
  • Participating in legal proceedings as needed.
  • Performing other duties as required.
