Job summary

You will contribute to architecture, code reviews, and testing, while advancing skills in modern software practices and cloud-enabled development.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years experience with Java or other Object Oriented language.
• Experience with microservices architecture and API development.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

• Collaborate with a global cross functional team in building customer-centric products.
• Analyze existing software to identify areas of improvement and provide estimates for implementing new features.
• Follow standard software development guidelines and best practices.
• Create and maintain test plans, documentation and automated tests for all technical changes.

Asset & Wealth Management Division

Across Asset and Wealth Management (AWM), Goldman Sachs helps empower clients and customers around the world to reach their financial goals. You Will

Basic Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• 3+ years (Associate) of experience with Java or other related Object Oriented development language
• Experience with microservices architecture and API development
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
• Ability to establish trusted partnerships with cross functional team members and product owners

Preferred Qualifications

• Source Control Management systems (i.e., SVN, Git)
• An understanding of common application architecture design patterns
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $95000-$145000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
