YOUR IMPACT

The Asset & Wealth Management Control Office, part of the Risk organization, oversees control standards across the division. The Risk division manages credit, market, operational, model, liquidity, insurance, and other risks. Our goals include creating control inventories, monitoring control health, and optimizing controls for compliance and operational efficiency. The team includes Control Office Management, Control Strategy, Monitoring & Testing, Policy Oversight, Regulatory Inventory Traceability, and Issue Management functions.

We seek a highly motivated Associate for the Regulatory Inventory Traceability team, focusing on Non-Financial Risk (NFR), which includes operational, conduct, regulatory, reputational, technology, cyber, third-party, and environmental risks. The role involves evaluating regulatory requirements related to consumer impact, linking regulations to risks and controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management, governance, controls, and regulatory frameworks.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Support the design and implementation of strategic regulatory inventory and traceability processes aligned with the Risk Management Framework
  • Manage regulatory mapping activities across assessment units, processes, risks, controls, and policies, ensuring consistency
  • Develop action plans to enhance the control environment, considering regulatory obligations
  • Engage stakeholders for strategic decision-making, prioritization, and volume management
  • Establish effective communication channels for key information dissemination

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in risk management, with a solid understanding of Asset & Wealth Management
  • Experience with risk/control self-assessments and regulatory mapping, including control design
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines
  • Ability to produce metrics and quantitative analysis for management reporting
  • Innovative mindset focused on control enhancements and automation
  • Effective influencing skills to challenge the status quo and improve controls
  • Excellent communication skills across different stakeholder levels
  • Strong time management skills for prioritization and meeting deadlines
