Senior Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Lead discussions on business problems, identify opportunities for scalability, improve client experience, increase data insights, and revenue generation through delivering quality solutions. Help business sponsors reach informed decisions on prioritization and overall benefits across Wealth Management. Ensure adherence to governance processes with a focus on continuous evaluation and improvement of strategy and BI approach, expansion of capabilities, upskilling of team members, and responding to overall business digitalization and automation needs through Embedded BI growth and Risk & Governance strategy. Communicate complex financial concepts to senior leadership while managing interactions with stakeholders across the division, including partnering with Engineering to ensure solutions align with overall division strategy. Champion a data-driven culture by being hands-on with data modeling and coding to solve business problems. Enhance and enforce robust SDLC models for solutions developed using Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Python, APIs, etc. Track prioritization and report progress on projects, leading co-developers in goal setting, peer reviews, and training. Drive the collection of new data and refinement of existing data sources. Identify and escalate system and strategy performance issues or trends. Contribute to global Business Intelligence team functions beyond BI remit. Collaborate with other developers to share ideas and showcase outputs.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with two (2) years of experience with a Master’s or four (4) years with a Bachelor’s degree. Required experience includes identifying scalable solutions for business problems, executing Risk and governance strategies, leading data insights using BI tools, end-to-end system design with low-code and high-code tools, programming in Python and SQL, building ETL pipelines with Alteryx and Tableau, designing SDLC models, performing dimensional data modeling, working with APIs, utilizing Git and industry-standard documentation, and managing project priorities and deployment.
