About Asset & Wealth Management

The Asset and Wealth Management Division (AWM) invests in corporate equity and debt, real estate equity and debt, and infrastructure-related assets and companies. The division operates on a global platform, working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We seek individuals with versatile skills and a passion for investing.

Your Role

The AWM Operations team is looking for a Senior Associate to join the Corporate Actions and Covenants team, supporting the high-growth Alternative Private investing business. This role involves collaboration across various departments to facilitate multi-asset, bespoke transactions.

Team Impact

Members will develop expertise in operations functions, establishing new processes, transitioning functions, and supporting various transactions. Core activities include new product development, entity creation, trade support, asset servicing, infrastructure enhancements, and cross-regional coordination. The scope of the team is expected to evolve as functions transfer and the real estate investment scope changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain comprehensive understanding of real estate investments, processes, and governance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate documentation and financial information.
  • Provide expertise on systems and processes to the Business and Federation.
  • Analyze complex transactions and develop operational solutions.
  • Verify critical documentation supporting investments across asset classes.
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders and drive divisional priorities.
  • Exercise judgment and problem-solving skills, especially in a new team environment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of experience in financial services, preferably in real estate operations, corporate actions, or covenant monitoring.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Experience with loan documentation across multiple deal/investment teams.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues effectively to internal clients.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and organized, with the ability to manage priorities.
  • Flexibility and resilience under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and process improvement.
  • Experience with documentation reviews is advantageous.
