Job Description

Are you looking to apply your strong customer service skills and strengthen relationships with senior business leaders in an impactful way? The Private Lending Services team is seeking a professional who can collaborate with regional lending managers, private lending underwriters, global client financing, credit, legal, and other operations teams to perform critical control functions in a rapidly growing business while delivering an excellent client experience.

Operations is integrated within our businesses and delivers banking, sales and trading, and asset management capabilities to all our clients. We work to protect the accuracy and efficiency at every step of the trade, ensuring proper trade execution, settlement, and reporting, while actively monitoring for risks and reengineering systems for efficiency.

Wealth Management Operations provides front-to-back operational support for Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Private Wealth Management, and Ayco, across trade and client lifecycle functions.

The Private Lending Services (PLS) team is a high-value control middle office supporting PWM by originating loans through GS BANK USA and GS International Bank, ensuring compliance with federal regulations throughout the loan lifecycle.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

• Collaborate with cross-divisional partners on bank loan origination and servicing matters
• Drive transformational strategies to uplift service standards, improve workflows, and monitor risks
• Engage with Private Lending leadership for oversight on high-risk functions and strategic initiatives
• Conduct secondary reviews and approvals of customer due diligence (KYC) and loan fundings
• Interact with regional managers, underwriters, credit, legal, and other teams globally to understand the organization
• Assist clients with loan applications, origination, and servicing within the portfolio
• Ensure compliance with regulations while providing excellent client service
• Develop strategies for process efficiencies and control enhancements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven client service skills, teamwork, and ability to handle confidential tasks with urgency
• Ability to manage processes and develop relationships with senior leaders
• Self-motivated, proactive, organized, and able to prioritize effectively
• Flexible and able to work under pressure in a team environment
