Job Duties: Vice President, Product Management at Goldman Sachs Bank USA, New York, NY
- Own ideation, design, product development, and innovation on new product concepts by deeply understanding client needs, business objectives, and competitive dynamics.
- Research various product types, regulatory landscape, competitive landscape, and technology platforms and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, technology, operations, legal, compliance, etc.) to prioritize product delivery, set goals, milestones, and phased delivery schedules.
- Support large-scale projects by leading cross-divisional working groups, driving high-quality deliverables, managing project timelines, and developing comprehensive documentation and executive updates.
- Participate in providing strategic direction and vision for the Private bank product portfolio and new product launches, leveraging domain expertise and understanding of client needs and goals.
- Contribute to fostering a strong product culture and delivery excellence by implementing best practices and agile methodologies.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least five (5) years of experience in product management or related roles.
- Experience must include five (5) years with: front-end products in digital businesses (e.g., e-commerce, digital banking, insurtech, payments); agile engineering with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma; prototyping/wireframing with Invision or Figma; A/B testing, market research tools (Adobe Test & Target), interviews, focus groups; and reporting/BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Additionally, two (2) years of experience should include: working with cross-functional teams in consumer banking, knowledge of banking regulations (Reg E, Reg O, Reg DD, OFAC), consumer banking product launches, automating KYC processes, decision engines (Provenir), digital onboarding systems, funnel optimization, and fraud reduction strategies.
Salary Range: $160,000 - $210,000 annually.
