Opportunity Overview

Division: Asset & Wealth Management

Job Duties
  1. Prepare liability analysis for defined benefit pension plans based on actuarial data under various economic assumptions.
  2. Perform asset/liability modeling and develop interest rate and credit spread hedging strategies for US and Canadian pension plans.
  3. Construct and review custom liability benchmarks for Liability Driven Investing fixed income portfolios.
  4. Utilize advanced mathematical concepts to assist in asset and liability modeling for clients and prospects.
  5. Support content development for client and prospect presentations, RFPs, and liability analyses.
  6. Construct and maintain asset and liability models to produce stochastic analyses for US and Canadian plans.
Job Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
  2. Three years of experience in pension actuarial consulting, financial modeling with Excel, advising on US pension laws, and working with US/International pension standards (ASC 715, IAS 19).
  3. Fellow or Associate of the Society of Actuaries.
Salary Range

$161,000/year - $200,000/year
