Goldman Sachs Ayco Personal Financial Management partners with Fortune 1000 companies to design and implement tailored financial planning programs for their workforce—leveraging the 50-year heritage of Ayco and the comprehensive resources of Goldman Sachs to meet the evolving needs of their employees. Ayco advisors and technical specialists help clients achieve their personal financial goals through education and guided implementation across seven key financial disciplines, including employee benefit planning.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

  • Work closely with Wealth Advisors and their teams to support existing client relationships including wealth strategies services, research and ongoing analysis and monitoring
  • Educate account managers and financial planners on insurance planning strategies. Partner with Wealth Strategist and Annuity Marketing teams on internal presentations regarding wealth transfer, income protection strategies and product updates
  • Develop and cultivate existing client relationships to uncover WSG-related opportunities. Assist regional Wealth Strategist and/or Annuity Marketing teams with marketing efforts. Formulate and implement wealth strategies plans for clients based on their needs
  • Partner with account managers and clients to identify and discuss key objectives surrounding insurance planning and risk management
  • Responsible for meeting revenue goals set for specific regions that contribute to the overall departmental goals
  • Enhance the client experience through exemplary client service standards
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, acting as a role model for other associates. Partner with senior management on key initiatives and the growth and development of other Ayco Associates

Qualifications

Skills & Experience We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Advanced degree or designation preferred
  • Series 7 or Series 6 required
  • Life and health insurance license required
  • Three to five years’ experience in life insurance and annuity products is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Direct client-facing experience and ability to build strong relationships
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, team player
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Commitment to accuracy, meeting deadlines
  • Experience in financial services or human resources preferred

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this Chicago-based position is $65,000 - $120,000. Additional discretionary bonus may be available for active employees at fiscal year-end.
