External Investing Group (XIG)

XIG Imprint is the dedicated impact investment vertical focusing on manager selection and co-investments in private markets, including private equity, real assets, and private credit. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS


Principal Responsibilities:


  • Conduct sourcing and due diligence of impact private equity funds across buyout, growth, and venture capital for fund of funds, separate accounts, and advisory mandates
  • Build and maintain relationships with key market players in impact private markets
  • Present investment opportunities to the Investment Committee through written and oral reports, emphasizing investment and impact analysis
  • Coordinate investment execution, working closely with internal and external parties
  • Monitor performance and risk of existing investments
  • Perform industry research to support sourcing, diligence, and monitoring
  • Provide portfolio updates and investment views to XIG clients

Experience & Skills:


  • At least 5 years in private markets manager selection and 10 years in investment roles
  • Experience with various private equity strategies (venture, growth, buyout) preferred
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing investment opportunities
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills for recommendations to the Investment Committee
  • Effective time, people, and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a global team
  • Demonstrated interest in impact investing
