External Investing Group (XIG): XIG provides investors with investment solutions, across leading hedge fund managers, private equity funds, real estate managers, public equity strategies and fixed income strategies. Our investors access opportunities through new fund commitments, fund-of-fund investments, strategic partnerships, secondary-market investments, co-investments, and seed-capital investments. XIG Hedge Funds: The XIG hedge fund team is responsible for sourcing, examining, and investing in leading external hedge fund managers. The team has been in this business since 1969, making it one of the first multi-managers in the industry. As of December 2024, the team managed over $26 billion across portfolios of hedge funds, customized solutions, and advisory relationships.

Alternatives Capital Formation (ACF): ACF manages capital raising and strategy for alternative investments including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, growth equity, sustainability, secondaries, GP stakes, and hedge funds / liquid alternatives. This specific ACF role sits with XIG, focused on hedge funds.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Drive commercial strategy, capital formation & client engagement.
  • Articulate investment strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead development of marketing content and strategic direction.
  • Manage client due diligence processes and negotiations.
  • Engage with clients and conduct business travel as needed.
  • Guide junior team members in client inquiries and projects.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in a similar or related role.
  • Experience in capital formation and investor relations.
  • Familiarity with hedge fund separately managed accounts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy in work.
  • Willingness to mentor junior team members.
  • Team player and self-motivated.

Salary Range: The expected base salary for this position is $125,000-$290,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
