Across Wealth Management, Goldman Sachs helps empower clients and customers around the world to reach their financial goals. Our advisor-led wealth management businesses provide financial planning, investment management, banking and comprehensive advice to a wide range of clients, including ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals, as well as family offices, foundations and endowments, and corporations and their employees. Our consumer business provides digital solutions for customers to better spend, borrow, invest, and save. Across Wealth Management, our growth is driven by a relentless focus on our people, our clients and customers, and leading-edge technology, data and design.

Alternative Capital Markets (ACM)

Alternative Capital Markets is a global team with 60+ alternative investment professionals across eight offices (New York, Albany, Dallas, London, Zurich, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shenzhen), responsible for over $120B+ in AUS, serving institutions, foundations, family offices, high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals. ACM is the architect of the Wealth Alternatives platform including private equity, growth / venture capital, private credit, private real estate, hedge funds, co-investments and impact private investing. These offerings include AM Private, XIG, and third-party external investment strategies, as well as differentiated private company access via both internal and external referrals. ACM's full-service capital markets business covers the entire lifecycle of an alternative investment, from investment sourcing to client solutions, as well as a new discretionary offering enabling programmatic platform access, an in-house liquidity platform for clients (qualified matching service, or QMS), and dedicated platform management and strategy.

ACM's Liquidity Solutions business is rapidly growing given the increased commitments to private assets across private wealth investors and the natural need for liquidity over time. The Liquidity Solutions team focuses on a range of offerings, including a quarterly auction process, tail-end fund liquidity sales and strategic transactions for specific platform assets. This role will focus on the development of the platform and infrastructure that enables transactions facilitated by the Liquidity Solutions team.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Lead strategic platform initiatives to help support the rapid scaling of the platform

  • Help design and establish the next phase of the Liquidity Solutions platform infrastructure, including managing partnerships with technology firms, internal stakeholders, and integration across the existing platform

  • Monitor and streamline internal processes as key strategic lead for executing secondary transactions, coordinating across a variety of stakeholders

  • Strategize on platform growth opportunities and assess viability of scaling across clients channels and products

  • Monitor and analyze transaction data to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve transaction outcomes, ensuring that the team can make data-driven decisions

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies by staying up-to-date with relevant regulations and implementing necessary controls and procedures

  • Provide support and training on platform usage and best practices, ensuring that internal teams and market participants are well-equipped to use the platform effectively and efficiently

  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency, such as automating manual processes, improving data accuracy, and streamlining workflows

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelors Degree or Higher

  • Deep understanding of financial markets and investment instruments

  • 8+ years of work experience

  • 4+ years experience in wealth/asset management, banking, markets or private investing

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Efficiency-focused project manager who can balance complex timelines and requirements with commercial effectiveness

  • Strong ability to multi-task, with an ability to manage multiple projects with different deadlines

  • Self-starter, with ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment and across group functions

  • Strong work ethic, motivation level, and strong attention to detail

  • SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 (must be obtained within 3 months)
