Northern Trust Audit Services offers a hybrid Chicago-based role exposing you to high-impact audits across Asset & Wealth Management. You will contribute to planning, testing, and reporting, work with stakeholders across levels, and develop expertise through onboarding, training, and coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 2–4 years of internal audit, risk, or public accounting/consulting within financial services.
• Experience or interest in Asset and/or Wealth Management.
• Professional certification (or progress toward certification) such as CIA, CPA, CFA, CISA, CFSA, or CFE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of audit engagements from planning through reporting.
• Analyze processes and controls to identify risks and control gaps.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Deliver work that meets Internal Audit standards and Audit Services methodology.
• Develop understanding of business processes, risks, controls, and regulatory requirements within Asset and Wealth Management.
• Identify and assess risks, contribute to audit planning and prioritization.
• Execute audit testing (interviews, walkthroughs, data analysis).
• Evaluate the effectiveness of controls and document findings.
