Job summary

Charles Schwab in El Paso, TX is seeking an Operational Associate in the Asset Transfer Services team. You will process transfer paperwork, review assets for transfer acceptability, and communicate with clients, partners, and other financial institutions. This is a client-facing role with 2–4 hours of daily phone time.

You will work with multiple systems, maintain accuracy, and collaborate with colleagues to meet critical cut-off times. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset helps you thrive here.

Qualifications

The Asset Transfer Services (ATS) Department balances incoming and outgoing transfer requests for Schwab clients. ATS strives to lead the industry by crafting the best transfer experience for our clients, internal business partners, and contra/brokerage firms.

What You'll Do

The Operational Associates in ATS perform a variety of functions and services for our Schwab Advisor Services and Investor Services client groups. This includes but is not limited to processing transfer paperwork, reviewing assets for acceptability to transfer, communicating directly with clients, business partners, and other financial institutions. This is a client-facing role that will include being on the phones from 2 to 4 hours per day. The types of transfers processed range from Incoming ACAT's, DRS, Foreign, Outbound, Non-ACAT's and/or Mutual Funds.

• Maintain a high degree of accuracy while meticulously processing each transfer request in a timely manner.


• Experience working with multiple systems in a dual monitor environment, and basic computer skills (including Microsoft Office products) are required.


• The desire and ability to work cooperatively & collaboratively with others on the team, in the department, and with leadership.


• Utilize analytical/critical thinking skills in order to problem solve.
