Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Supervisor to lead the store's asset protection team, ensuring safety of customers, associates, merchandise and property. You will direct implementation of shortage control programs and deter theft through a strong presence.

You will recruit and train staff, stay compliant with safety standards, and collaborate with law enforcement when needed. This role emphasizes professional leadership in high-stress situations.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule incl. nights, weekends & holidays
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Prior experience in security/asset protection preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform patrols and monitoring to maintain visible security presence
• Assist in recruitment and training of Shortage Control Associates
• Stay updated on safety and security standards and protocols
• Investigate theft and safety incidents
• Supervise safety inspections and audits; document findings
• Control access for associates and visitors; monitor CCTV when applicable
• Represent Burlington in court proceedings related to Asset Protection
• Develop relationships with local law enforcement
