Albertsons Companies is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to deter theft, support compliance, and maintain a secure store environment. You will protect people, assets, and company integrity while ensuring exceptional service to customers, associates, and vendors.

Responsibilities include surveillance, incident investigations, training, and cooperation with store leadership and law enforcement as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence to support a safe and secure store environment for customers, associates, and vendors while delivering excellent customer service.
• Monitor checkout areas and review exception reports to identify fraud and ensure compliance with cash handling policies.
• Conduct surveillance to detect theft, safety risks, and operational issues.
• Apprehend individuals committing theft in accordance with policies and laws while ensuring safety of all parties.
• Respond to EAS alarms and investigate incidents.
• Monitor receiving and storage areas and conduct delivery audits to detect vendor fraud.
• Conduct inspections and audits related to shrink control, safety, and physical security standards; communicate findings.
• Maintain and operate asset protection equipment including CCTV, EAS, and alarms.
• Conduct investigations with thorough documentation and coordinate with leadership and law enforcement as needed.
• Train associates on loss prevention, safety, and compliance practices.
