Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc in Arlington, VA is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to help maintain a safe, secure environment for customers and associates. You will support safety initiatives, investigate incidents, and partner with store leadership to reduce shrink and promote operational excellence.

You will monitor CCTV, assist in investigations, train teams on asset prevention, and coordinate with local law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or asset protection experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Calm and professional approach to safety-related situations.
• Strong accountability, initiative and confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and basic computer skills (preferred).
• Comfortable using surveillance, reporting and monitoring technologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and conduct surveillance to identify suspicious activity.
• Support investigations by gathering data and responding to alarms.
• Enforce safety and security procedures to promote a safe store environment.
• Execute shrink reduction strategies using RFID and reporting tools.
• Complete accurate incident and investigation reports.
